District heating scheme to provide a zero carbon source of heating and hot water for 8000 plus new homes at Cranbrook and Skypark Business Park with private wire electricity supply, potentially saving 13,000 tonnes of CO2 a year. District heating networks also facilitate greater local energy resilience, the potential to capture and use waste heat, and provide an easier transition to fossil fuel free technologies.
Saving up to 13,000 tonnes of CO2 a year.
