We use iCIMS, a system provided by a US-based company, iCIMS Inc., for recruitment management purposes. iCIMS Inc. has certified that it adheres to the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield Framework as set forth by the U.S. Department of Commerce regarding the collection, use, and retention of personal information transferred from the European Union to the United States. We use Mailchimp, a system provided by a US-based company, The Rocket Science Group LLC, for email marketing purposes. The Rocket Science Group LLC. has also certified that it adheres to the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield Framework referred to above. In light of such certifications, we have concluded that both iCIMS Inc. and The Rocket Science Group LLC have good privacy safeguards and security features in place to prevent unauthorised access of data which is sent to them via our Site. We use F6S, a system provided by a UK-based company, F6S Network Limited, to process applications to participate in the accelerator programme. F6S uses Amazon Web Services (“AWS”) to host its data, including data provided in applications to participate in the Exeter City Futures Accelerator, and SendGrid as its email infrastructure partner. Both AWS and SendGrid are based in the US. Amazon Web Services, Inc. has certified that it adheres to the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield Framework, and SendGrid has previously certified that it adheres to the Safe Harbor Principles (which were replaced by the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield Framework in July 2016). We have therefore concluded that both AWS and SendGrid have good privacy safeguards and security features in place to prevent unauthorised access of data which is sent to them by F6S. Where we store your personal data
Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure.
