Our quarterly Connect events are back and better than ever.
In order to improve the support we can provide to individuals and groups who are inspired to make change locally, and help solve our 12 Goals for Exeter, we have refreshed our quarterly Connect events for 2019.
We aim to provide an open platform for collaboration where everyone – individuals, communities and businesses in Exeter – can be involved with creating sustainable change together.
We invite you to share ideas, converse and network with each other, to spark ideas, build partnerships and develop projects. Through five minute pitches and tabling questions with discussion alongside networking, we aim to create a supporting environment to generate a vibrant community of Exeter change makers.
Each Connect event will be framed around a key theme and a question, which we invite change makers to respond to, by sharing their ideas, knowledge, proposals and initiate projects relating to the question.

Capability: How can we create skills and capabilities within our City to ensure its communities, businesses and organisations can face the challenges of the future?

Energy: How can our City be more energy efficient for all?
Potential projects that are created during these events could make a huge positive impact on Exeter City Futures 12 Goals and be part of delivering Exeter’s zero carbon ambition!
If you have ideas or projects that you would like to share with others across the city, we ask you to sign up on our Eventbrite page and indicate whether you would like to present at the event.
If you don’t want to share at the event, this is a great opportunity to network with others who want to create positive change in the Exeter region and help them connect to people who might be able to help turn their ideas into a reality.
