On Sunday July 7th, Magdalen Rd in St Leonards is being closed to hold Exeter’s first ever “Wellfest- a Community Fun and Wellbeing Day”.
St Leonards Neighbourhood Association, Barnfield Hill Surgery and St Leonards Practice Patient Participation Groups (PPGs), in conjuction with the RDE Hospital Trust Exeter Community Team and Wellbeing Exeter, with support from Exeter City Futures are planning a full day of car-free, fun and wellbeing event.
This will be a car-free, relaxed cafe-culture community event; singing, music, dancing, games, family fun and talent stage. Art and nature activities. Wellbeing talks, interactive learning activities and active transportation related organisations will be in attendance and running activities (Co-bikes will be in attendance with their brand new e-bikes!).
The road will be closed and set up to provide a relaxed café-culture space with music, art, and dance as well as games, and activities.
The emphasis is on FUN!
The day will begin at around 11am and finish with a long table community meal between from 5pm-7pm.
Bring your own food or buy from local traders and join in the fun. Decorate your own table.
