Exeter City Futures are working with the University of Exeter and Exeter City Council to deliver an exciting new community project. We will be partnering with the people of Heavitree to understand local traffic and energy-related challenges and consider ways to make Heavitree an even better place to live.
We believe that data can enable change. By supporting communities to collect and analyse their own data, we can start to understand the nature of community challenges and how we can influence and drive change.
We want to work with the people of Heavitree to:
- Consider and understand the challenges relating to congestion and energy in Heavitree
- Consider ways of collecting and using data to help understand the cause and impact of congestion on the people of Heavitree
- Co-design practical solution(s) which would benefit the community and the lives of local people
- Bring about long-term and visible changes
What are the energy or congestion-related problems in Heavitree?
Congestion / air pollution / related health concerns / car parking / better use of green space / energy efficiency / community energy
Where and when
We will be at Park Life Heavitree’s Popup Cafe, this Saturday 13th between 2-4pm. Come and find us and talk with our Kerry and Lindsey to learn more about this exciting new project and how you can get involved!
