Lynda is Director of Policy, Innovation & Engagement at Exeter City Futures (contributed by the University of Exeter). She has an eclectic background in marketing, business development and project management, giving her the unique set of skills to help the city of Exeter link up the innovation, capabilities, and resources needed to realise its carbon neutral ambition.
Before joining Exeter City Futures she managed two Millennium Commission funded country-wide grant schemes, founded The Business Greenhouse (which supported local small businesses establish their identity, grow and become more resilient), has worked closely with those in industry, communities and academia, and, in her Corporate Communications role for Bristol City Council, encouraged people to cycle and recycle more (contributing to Bristol being crowned Number 1 Cycling City and UK’s Top Recycling City in 2019).
Outside of work, she is adapting to life with a boisterous puppy, and when not on the beach is trying her hand at tennis.
