Jamie Hulland

Transportation Strategy & Road Safety Manager, Devon County Council

Jamie is a Transportation Strategy & Road Safety Manager at Devon County Council with responsibility for developing transport strategies across the county, supporting housing delivery and economic growth as well as encouraging people to lead more physically active lifestyles. He is responsible for the County’s transport capital programme, which has been boosted in recent years by several successful Government grant funding bids. This has helped see over £75m of walking & cycling, bus, rail and highway infrastructure delivered in the Exeter and East Devon Growth area since 2011.

About Devon County Council

“Devon County Council are delighted to be involved in this partnership, as it brings together organisations who can influence behaviour change on a city-wide level. We recognise that there are challenges ahead to support Exeter’s continued economic growth, while also promoting healthy, active lifestyles for its citizens.

Infrastructure is part of the solution but embracing technology, and testing innovative approaches to keep the network moving, will be the key to delivering a vibrant and successful city for the future.” – Transportation Strategy & Road Safety Manager, Devon County Council
